The role of the e-bike experience connected to the Corsa Rosa was discussed at the Trento Sports Festival.
Giro-E Enel, the unique e-bike experience on a global scale that takes place during the Giro d’Italia on the same routes, continues its evolution from a sporting event to a model of sustainability and promotion of pedal-assist bicycles as an eco-friendly and alternative means of transportation.
Thanks to the media visibility it has gained over the past six years, Giro-E has taken on an increasingly important role in educating the public about sustainable mobility, demonstrating how the use of e-bikes can be a tangible solution to encourage a shift in people’s daily habits.
Today, the themes promoted by Giro-E were discussed in a workshop held as part of the Trento Sports Festival, organized by La Gazzetta dello Sport. The event featured Paolo Bellino, CEO at RCS Sport, Roberto Salvador, director of Giro-E, Hon. Roberto Pella, president of ANCI and the Lega del Ciclismo Professionistico, along with four special sporting guests: Kristian Ghedina, alpine skiing legend; Leonardo Ghiraldini, former captain of Italy’s national rugby team and partner of Nativa; Valerio Vermiglio, former player of the Italian national volleyball team; and Rachele Sangiuliano, former player of the Italian national volleyball team.
